I'm chugging right along with the 2016 Popsugar Reading Challenge, so I wanted to share with you my plans for summer reading. I'm considering summer May 15-September 15, even though it definitely doesn't feel like summer out there right now!
Rest of May:
- Very Good Lives by J.K. Rowling (#9: A book that's under 150 pages)
- The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins (#11: A book that's becoming a movie this year)
- The Progeny by Tosca Lee (via Netgalley)
June:
- Night by Elie Wiesel (#19: A book from Oprah's Book Club)
- VACATION READING: Winter by Marissa Meyer (#18: A book that's at least 600 pages)
- How to Be Bad by E. Lockhart, Sarah Mylnowski, and Lauren Myracle (#36: A book about a road trip)
- The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (#33: A classic from the 20th century)
- Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn (#25: A book that takes place during summer)
- Bossypants by Tina Fey (#28: A book written by a comedian)
- The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi (signed copy received from a giveaway by Functioning Insanity Reviews)
August:
- To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (#4: A book you haven't read since high school)
- Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin
- Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas (#12: A book recommended by someone you just met)
- Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
September:
- Better Than Before by Gretchen Rubin (#13: A self-improvement book)
- The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken (#29: A dystopian novel)
I actually read The Great Gatsby a few weeks ago for school, it's pretty good! The Darkest Minds is great (one of my favorites!) and I really need to finish the Lunar Chronicles, I'm behind on that one
